Illustrious TED talk by Margrethe Vestager, the “European Commissioner for Competition,” on US global monopolies and how to crack down on them with exorbitant fines in order to keep the totalitarian European Union “competitive.
I’m dread to think that the totalitarian Union can only ever be “competitive” again, Ms. Vestager, if all other competitors are excluded, banned, censored, disowned, or died a horrible death in legal limbo. Just saying.
But at least EU got some free cash rehabilitation from US Google ($2.8 billion) and US Apple ($15.3 billion); I was a bit worried the EU member states would cut back on school and education. Just saying.
